Jenny Jen Jen: I Love You

My Sweet Blog Friend Jenny sent me the sweetest surprise this week!

Jenny, you have AMAZING timing. I was sitting at work, dreading the thought of filing, missing Will, and anxious to go home.

Much to surprise I had a package in the mail! A sweet surprise from one of my favorite bloggers in the world, Jenny. It was a birthday gift, “5 months late” as she stated.

It was the just the therapy I needed- some “smelly good” and a pretty little flowery card. It totally made my day- and it smells great! It will forever remind me of my sweet blog friend,

my “real” friend,

Jenny.

Jenny and I go “way back” to the early days of the nest when people barely left comments and life revolved around life immediately after the wedding. Here we are now, a few years into our marriage, leaving comments as if we were on a frequent writer plan, and on our own sites.

Isn’t it funny how most of us have never met (unless you’re lucky enough like some bloggers who have!),

have rarely if ever spoken on the phone,

barely email,

probably don’t even know each other’s last names or where we grew up,

couldn’t pick each other out of a crowded room,

yet count one another as friends, real life friends.

Heck, most of my blog friends are far closer to me than my real ones these days. I guess it’s because we’ve made this whole online “long distance” thing a priority whereas other people that don’t enjoy this computer box as much haven’t.

I’m thankful for the friendships I’ve established here, so very thankful. I’ve met some of the most beautiful, colorful, and genuine people through this venue.

Jenny, thanks for the reflection today. You are always so loving, nurturing, and thoughtful and that continually comes out in your blog. I’m so blessed to know you.

to my other blog friends- thank you. In a lot of crazy ways, you are my refuge whether you know it or not.

Have a great day. I wish you happy surprises!

Much Agreed!  We are all so “close”, yet so “far”.....but I love all of the women in our blogging community like they have been my next door neighbor since I was three!

Aww...warm fuzzies! Loved the letter to P by the way...I’m sure if he could pull it off, Gary would try that everytime the dogs eat something. . .(claiming they are in some other country)

I totally agree, I think it’s so neat how we have all these friends in the blogging world.  People we have never met in real life, yet care so much about!  That’s so sweet of Jenny to have done that!  Sorry you are missing Will, how much longer until he’s home?

Brittny,
I’m almost in tears over here, across the globe because I wish I could give you a real, long-awaited hug for all of those truly nice things you’ve said about me. You’ve made my day, but even more you’ve enriched my life in a million ways. Until I began blogging and making connections with people I’d never met, I would have thought having online friends would be only something a person who rarely saw the light of day could do, but after all of these years it’s amazing just how untrue that is. I’m thankful that we’ve had the opportunity to actually talk over the phone, through emails and of course blogging. I truly consider you a “real” friend and agree that in many ways we’re closer than friends I see regularly. I’m glad you enjoyed your late birthday gift and I’m so glad that the timing was so perfect. I think of you often and I hope you’ll always know how dear you are to my heart. I love you!

Oh, and the email - still in the works. I’ve actually been really productive at work since Kim has been gone but it’s taken a lot of time away from blogging and the house business tkaes the rest… it’ll be coming, eventually.  grin

BTW, it’s my favorite scent from Bath & Body Works. I wear it every day I’m not wearing the perfume you gave to me - that’s almost gone, I’m trying to conserve!!

You know Britt, until Jenny got me into the Nest, and then blogging here - I never realized how much fuller my life would be either… I’m glad that Jenny “introduced” me to you - and I know that when you come back to the States we’ll be planning a “meet” smile Whenever that is!! These online friendships really are better than I could ever have expected - and I owe it all to Jenny - she really is the best isn’t she? and you are fabulous too!! smile

How sweet!  What a thoughtful surprise you got smile I agree...I consider the ladies here to be such great friends and people who are always there to listen!  I think everyone needs friends like that!

That was such a sweet surprise! That Jenny is always out-doing herself. wink

You ladies sure are a blessing...I totally agree. It’s great to have such an amazing support group. People you know you can confide in, laugh with, and will help you get through the hard stuff. I love all you guys!

I agree 100% with you.  It is amazing how I keep in so much closer contact with my blogger friends than my real friends, and I don’t even know their last name (or in my case my first name - Libby, by the way).

Thanks for the reality reminder.

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to receive the home loans. Furthermore, my mother commonly uses a financial loan, which seems to be the most reliable.

We find information referring to this good topic from the different places. And everyone can offer to buy essay at the writing services. And people from time to time order essay for sale.
