I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

i really want you to stay

I have to tell you about my almost breakdown last night.

I got totally parental on myself last night.

It finally hit me that my baby sister is graduating, leaving the country, and going to college in like 7 months.

Do you realize we’ve practically lived with each other or 10 minutes away from each other for almost 18 years!?

I was listening to “Mourining Morning” by Just Jack (<3)- mainly because my sister is my music supplier and told me to download it. Anyway, I totally almost lost it there (I'll post part of the lyrics at the end).

What are you doing to me woman!?!

So anyway, I finally realized that this is the last time we'll really be around each other like we are right now- and yes, I got all misty.

Mainly because I'm a nerd and stress about things so far in the future that God might not even be aware of them yet (just kidding, God!).

But that's a legit stress, right?

Definitely. It ranks right up there with world hunger and global warming I'm almost positive.

Anyway, that's today's story.

P-

I really want you to stay but I know you have to go

I really want you to stay but sometimes it doesn’t show

I really want you to stay but I know you have to go

I really want you to stay let the conversation flow

I really want you to stay but I know you have to go

I really want you to stay but sometimes it doesn’t show

I really want you to stay but I know you have to go, have to go again

“Mourning Morning”

~Just Jack

Love,

Britter

Doesn’t it suck when little sisters get older?  :( Who told them they could do that?

Aw, that makes me sad!  I am the youngest sister and I really miss having my 2 sisters live close to me.  I might have to find that song on itunes.  smile

Britt,
I know those feelings all too well. I’d already moved out when Jessie went to college (about an hour away) and was helping her move into her dorm. If Jay hadn’t of forced me, I probably would have never left her. It felt wrong to feed her to the wolves but she was stronger than I ever gave her credit for as I imagine your little sister is too. I bawled the entire way home and for that whole night, it was horrible. It will however be okay.

I know exactly how you feel. There’s is no doubt that your relationship will completely change, but it truly will get better. It’s amazing to think that our “little sister’s” will grow up to be someone’s wife and someone’s mother! Rest assured the bond that sister’s share only gets stronger with time no matter how far apart you are.

Wow, sad. Saying goodbye to sisters is NOT fun. My sister and I were balling when we said goodbye when I moved. Yeah, we have phone and computers and all that, but it’s just NOT the same as living so close together. It’s HARD. :( I’m feeling your pain, dearie.

I love that the two of you are so close and I am sure it is going to be hard for the two of you to be away from each other.  At least things will be that much more special when the two of you do get together!!!

Enjoy the time you have now!!!!

Aww!  It’s so sweet that you and your sister are so close!  It makes me wish I had a sibling or two!!

If you’re this close, a while in college or even across the globe won’t change it.  smile But yes, it’s definitely a legit stress!

There is another song that just came out by Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter Miley Cryus ( Hannah Montana, is her TV name, kinda a big deal now).  It is called “Ready Set Don’t go” It is really good.  YOu need to listen to it.  Kinda makes me think of you and P.
