I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

Blog Therapy.

Obligation:

The constraining power of a promise, contract, law, or sense of duty.

Why is that as of late I have started to feel as though my blog has become an

obligation?

I guess it’s normal to go through such ebbs and flows.

Do you ever feel like maybe you’re all talked out?

Like you couldn’t offer the world one more single ounce of your day-to-day slice of life posts without someone throwing up all over their brand new Easter Sunday shoes?

Perhaps this is a normal feeling.

Or maybe it was the casserole I just had.

It could also be this time of year. There’s really not much to talk about. The holidays are over (which means no complaining about family),

football season is over (which means no complaining about Will’s OCD tendencies),

we have a gym membership (which means no complaining about my fatness).

Hmm- are you sensing a theme?

I think the heart of the matter is not so much that I have nothing to post about but rather nothing to complain about.

...

Did I just have a breakthrough?

I think I did.

Not having anything to complain about is life’s goal Britt! I’d found myself all talked out until recently. You’ll find your voice again - there is blogging material everywhere!!

Well, I think the bottom line is we are smack-dab in the middle of February.  I warn my students every year, “It’s February.  Don’t mess with me.”

Kristin has a point - there’s something about February.  Still winter and spring isn’t close enough to feel a release.  *sigh* haha
I haven’t been posting because ALL I do is complain and I’m sick of it.  So I’ve decided not to subject y’all to my complaints.
There has GOT to be an amusing story that happened this weekend...Oh!  I know, tell us about your letters smile

Complaining sometimes makes the funniest stories later when you go back and read them.. . .try it, I swear the older the complaint is makes it even more funny.

I will give you something to complain about.  Why is it whenever something newsworthy happens in Oklahoma, they always find the three-toothed, most back woods, red-necked, crazy guy to interview on the news.  I mean you and I are normal, so I am sure there are more than us that live in our great state.  SO why is it that they can only find those people to represent us to the rest of the country and world?

How about that?  did that help/

I definitely go through those phases, too, where I don’t feel like I have anything to blog about.  Actually...that’s most of the time come to think about it!

I def feel that way.  Lots of pics from me when it’s like that.  Do I sense some doggy posts coming?

Not having much to complain about, though...a very very good thing! smile

About

brittny I'm B-Love. I've just returned to America after spending three years in Kuwait with my husband Mr. B-Love and our two maltese, Boz and Lucy. We recently added two more doggies to our family, Rocky and Teddy. I love weight training, OU football, and lazy weekends. Buckle up and get ready for my constant embarrassing moments, continual madness at a new job, and my daily effort to rely on Christ while adjusting to life back in the real world.
